Art Deco One Carat Diamond Filigree Ring c1930

Art Deco One Carat Diamond Filigree Ring c1930

Glittering crescent moons cradle a dazzling brilliant diamond in this fine handmade platinum filigree ring from the early 1930s! The fiery one carat diamond at its center is set within four prongs defined by the pointed ends of the two diamond studded crescents. An airy, scalloped shell-like filigree gallery rises from the crescent and repeats around their round bottoms, wrapping around the shoulders with lacy, delicate elegance. In classic art deco fashion, additional diamonds twinkle within milgrain delineated shapes that cascade down the shoulders and sides of the band. Handmade in bright white platinum, this gorgeous ring's intricate details are as crisp today as they were a century ago when it was carved, preserving its delicate romance for lifetimes to come!
