1930s-40s Handmade 14k Lapis Lazuli Ring
Inventory# A0723-6456
It is no wonder why lapis lazuli was the most expensive pigment used in masterpiece paintings in the Renaissance--it is simply the perfect blue! This stone is no exception, with it's beautiful matrixing of metallic white calcite and brassy pyrite, and it's dynamic variation of lighter and darker shades of royal blue. It was made sometime in the 1930s or 40s in 14k yellow gold. It is a size 7 1/2 and may be resized as requested. It is about 5/8 inch wide, 3/4 inch long, and sits about 1/2 inch tall off the finger.
