Ever more rare, there really is nothing like natural coral! The color is incomparable, and these are a fine example. This coral comes from the Mediterranean Sea, home to some of the finest ever found. These adorable button style earrings were fashioned sometime between the 1930s and 50s, long before the need for conservation was apparent. They are set into 14k gold, and as was standard at the time, they are clip-on to accommodate non-pierced ears. We are happy to add a post for added security on pierced ears, upon request. However they are in great shape, and are sure to stay clipped securely on their own. They measure about 3/4 inch in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
