Georg Jensen's jewelry designs are famous for their simple, naturalistic, and abstract forms. This bracelet, design #11 from the "Moonlight Blossom" series is exemplary of his design sensibility and fine silver craftsmanship. The blossom-like panels are lightly hammered, giving them a subtle, natural texture. They alternate with bezeled silver cabochons. The clasp is in excellent working condition, and is designed to be hidden, allowing the design to continue seamlessly. This design has been made for nearly a century, and continues to be made today. We know this one was made between 1933 and 1944 based on its hallmarks. It measures 7 3/4 inches long, fit for a medium to large sized wrist. It is about 1/2 inch at its widest points.
