1945 Joseff of Hollywood Earring & Brooch/Pendant Set
Made by Joseff of Hollywood in 1945, this set features deep purple, pear-cut rhinestones set in an ornate floral frame with sculpted leaf and flowers, and it is finished with flat, rope-like dangles. The crown-like earrings climb up-the-ear ever so slightly and they have their original clip-on backings which cannot be converted to post at this time. They measure 1 and 3/4 inches long by 1 inch wide. The brooch can be worn as necklace if you feed a chain through the bale at the top — it is so versatile. It measures 6 and 1/2 inches long by 2 inches wide. This unique set is ready to become a part of your collection — make it yours today!
Joseff of Hollywood was a Los Angeles-based jewelry company founded by Eugene Joseff and they were notorious for creating fabulous costume jewelry for many of the biggest films and movie stars of the 1930s and 1940s, most notably Elizabeth Taylor's Cleopatra!
