Native American Petrified Wood Cuff c1960
Made from the fossilized remains of ancient trees, the center stone in this vintage cuff boasts a moody scene with black, grey and persimmon hues. It sits flush in a square bezel, framed by hand-wrought scrollwork over an ornate, structured split-shank that wraps beautifully around the wrist. It is a celebration of artistic construction, featuring leaves, granulation, swirls and twisted wire all working together to create this work of Native American art!
Did you know it takes anywhere from one hundred years to millions of years for wood to turn into stone? This is perhaps one of the oldest pieces in our shop!
