This kaleidoscopic opal is full of color and has a moon-like glow that is amplified by a halo of equally-beautiful garnets! The opal at the center seems to contain its own galaxy within, showing off different colors that together make up the entire color spectrum! This vintage ring was fashioned sometime in the mid 20th century, between 1960 and 1970, in 14 karat yellow gold. Accentuating its planetary look is the roundness in its design, culminating in this slightly oval, domed ring. Ten natural garnets make up the fine halo,  encircled within a scalloped border and set over a comfortable 3 mm shank. Carrying a bold presence while maintaining a low profile, this is the kind of joyful cocktail ring that is easy to incorporate into your everyday jewelry rotation!
