1960s Taxco Sterling Necklace by Erika Hult de Corral
Mexican midcentury modern! This 1960s sterling necklace was designed by Erika Hult de Corral. She is a highly respected silversmith trained at Parsons as well as in Taxco, where she worked with masters Sigi Pineda and Enrique Ledesma. She then moved to Puerto Vallerta where she opened her own shop and began to mark her pieces, like this one, with the "Ric" stamp. It's sweeping design is attractive and easy to wear. It measures 16 inches long and 3/8 inch at its widest.
