Midcentury .70ct Oval Diamond Ring
A gorgeous Oval-cut diamond glows between two round diamonds in this unique, yet simple beauty from the 1950s! Crafted by hand in 18 karat white gold, shining bright at the center is a .70 carat EGL-Certified Oval-cut diamond, graded G-H color and VS1 clarity. Typically, oval and pear cuts have a 'bowtie effect' or dark centers due to the proportion of the facets not giving off as much light as a perfectly-round stone. However, this one is so finely-faceted that the effect is almost undetectable! The full-cut side diamonds total a carat weight of about .10 carats and are graded G color and VS clarity. They're small but mighty, boasting a beautiful show of sparkle. This engagement ring is streamlined with just the right amount of height, and a perfect example of the timeless design of the mid-century era. It can be easily paired with a diamond band, but it can also be worn daily on its own, allowing this vintage diamond ring the prominence it deserves.
