.70 Carat Old European-Cut Diamond Ring C. 1940s
You will never get tired of staring at this beautiful diamond ring!
Made circa 1940s in 14 karat white gold, this vintage engagement ring centers a .70 carat Old European-cut diamond, hand-cut much earlier around 1910 and graded J color and I1 clarity. Its I1 clarity grading is due to a barely-visible, natural inclusion on the girdle, otherwise this stone would be graded SI1. The center diamond is elegantly flanked by .08 carats in Single-cut diamonds, graded G color and VS clarity, and finished with a knife-edge shank. We adore the ring's kite-shaped shoulders and the milgrained borders, the slightly-raised square basket, and its sweet fishtail prongs. It is fine detailing like this which truly sets a vintage ring apart from the rest and makes it unique. This vintage engagement diamond ring is currently a size 4 and 1/2 and it can be easily resized. Please inquire.
