Earrings fit for a maharani! These stunning, yet playful earrings were handmade in India in the early 20th century, replicating the styles popular in Indian royal courts in the previous centuries. Flat rose cut diamonds shine like mirrors and draw the eye, shimmering with the earring's natural swaying movement. They cover the oxidized dangling domes, crowned by raspberry red ruby cabochons and rimmed with natural emeralds. A skirt of natural pearls and emerald beads dangles from their bottoms, adding a sweet and flirty touch and balancing the strand of pearls they dangle from. The screw-on earring tops are made of 18k yellow gold while the body is made from 16k. As is common with a hundred years of wear, some of the small pearl dangles are missing, however it is largely unnoticeable and the skirt appears full. They measure about 1 1/2 inches in length and 5/8 inch at their widest. We are happy to convert them to posts for pierced ears if desired.
