Art Nouveau Waltham Pocket Watch
This beautiful Art Nouveau pocket watch by the Waltham Watch Company features an ethereal, feminine goddess with flowing locks of hair and blooming flowers. The Waltham Watch Company was an American watch manufacturing house founded in 1850 in Massachusetts, and they played a major role in the development of the American watch industry!
Her sweet portrait is repoussed over a textured disc, while the rest of the pocket watch boast a satiny high-polish, making it look soft in its appearance. A striking contrast that is both bold and delicate! We think this pretty little lady perfectly encapsulates the Art Nouveau movement of the 1890s. The pocket watch is fashioned in rolled gold, which is a form of gold plating used in the Victorian and Edwardian eras. It is strong, it looks and wears just like rose gold, and can last for over 100 years, as exemplified here. The workmanship is exceptional, as well as the condition of the watch itself. It has been cleaned, serviced for optimal working order and tested, and it is guaranteed for 1 year from date of purchase. If there's any issue with its functioning whatsoever we will have it fixed free-of-charge within its warranty period.
- Measurements: 2 inches long by 1 and 1/2 inches wide
Style it on a bolder chain around your neck (like we have!), or wear it on your belt as intended, on a pocket watch chain. What is certain is that you can feel confident you are wearing a stunning and historied timepiece!
