Benrus Garnet Pocket Watch C. 1930s
Made sometime during the 1930s, this enchanting pocket watch is set in 14 karat yellow gold and designed by American watchmaker company Benrus as a garnet-studded pocket watch, suspended from a floating butterfly. The front of the case is hand carved with a striking leafy pattern, and as no detail was spared in the making of this piece, the garnet flower at the center unlatches from the side to reveal the face of the watch, which counts with a 17 jewel movement. This pocket watch is in working condition, and it has been newly-serviced. We guarantee the movement for a year from purchase and we're happy to service it free of charge during the warranty period. It can be attached to your clothing with a secure pin back mechanism seen at the top, at the reverse of the butterfly. This pocket watch by Benrus measures 1 and 7/8 inches long by 1 inch at its widest point.
We can't get enough of this stunning pocket watch, beautifully detailed inside and out! It is a fabulous way to welcome the spring, with these gorgeous garnets that sparkle like the finest pour of red wine!
