Flower power from the 1960s!
This lovely pair of floral earrings was made around the 1960s in 14 karat yellow gold, with hand-applied black enamel and about 2.50 carats total in glittering full-cut diamonds. Each center stone weighs approximately .40 carats, and they are matched and graded G-H color and SI2 and I1 clarity respectively, while the rest of the scattered diamonds are single-cut and graded G-H color and VS-SI clarity. The open, negative space in the design, along with the black enamel, gives them an airy feel that helps them remain lightweight, fun and sophisticated, not to mention that its classic color combo (black and gold) pairs well with almost anything!
Each earring measures about 26 millimeters (1 inch) wide, and they currently have clip-on style backings, suitable for both pierced and non-pierced ears alike. Posts may be added for pierced ears, if preferred, upon request. Please inquire here.
