There are few more distinctive jewelry styles than brutalism. Its beauty is in its unusual forms, inspired by the rougher parts of nature. Where other naturalistic design movements focused on the soft, rounded curves of flowering plants, brutalism draws inspiration from the more rugged elements of the earth: the bark of a tree, its knotty roots, or the face of a rocky cliff. This unique style was most prominent in the very late 1960s and throughout the 1970s. This ring is an excellent example as it emulates the trunk of a tree, made in 10k yellow gold. It is currently a size 8 and may be easily resized upon request.
