The fiery stone is set in a silvery white bezel and backed with foil, a common practice of the era meant to enhance its brilliance. Its contrast highlights the diamond's alluring color, balancing it with the more colorless old-mine cut diamonds that are flush-set in the warm yellow gold shoulders. The six side stones are set in trefoil shaped triplets, softly tapering the design as they meet the band's carved arrow-channel sides.
