Description: This is a wonderful handmade navette ring with a rich red garnet in its center, held by 10 prongs. The garnet is of an interesting cut from the period with a curved table (top). The diamonds are near colorless, G-J, and VS clarity (clean under 10x). Most are old-mine cut, two are rose-cut, one is a 19th century single-cut, and one in the tip was replaced, as it is a 1920s transitional-cut. We approximate the weight at 1 carat total, but that is probably a low estimate. A superb, elongating look.
