Belle Époque Diamond and Pearl Pendant

Belle Époque Diamond and Pearl Pendant

La Belle Époque, or the beautiful era (1871-1914), produced jewelry that was truly deserving of the namesake – and this pendant is a fine example! Glittering diamonds in exquisite symmetry characterize this stunning pendant, originally crafted in France around 1910. A 1.10 carat re-cut modern brilliant diamond sparkles at its center, encircled by a halo of natural seed pearls and delicate platinum lines that radiate around the pearl halo. A diamond-studded ring borders the pendant and highlights four larger old European cut diamonds, each securely bezel-set at its cardinal points. Small natural seed pearls complete the pendant's outer frame, beautifully reflecting the centerpiece and balancing the design with their soft, airy luster. Boasting beautifully detailed craftsmanship, this captivating antique pendant is a brilliant ode the finest elements of Belle Époque jewelry!
