Rare natural black pearls surround a golden citrine in this rose gold beauty from around 1850. The black pearls are of a steely blue lustre that are complimented perfectly by their rose gold setting. They are natural, which is incredibly rare these days and almost exclusively found in antique jewelry. The citrine has a strong golden hue, with subtle hints of chartreuse. The shank is slightly more yellow, and certainly was replaced or added in the 20th century. All of the gold is 10k. The underside of the ring shows some lead soldering work that is messy, as was the nature of repair work back then, but it does not affect the overall beautiful aesthetic of the ring. The top of the ring measures 11 mm by 14 mm. It is currently a size and may be resized up or down easily upon request.
