A jaw-dropping amethyst, a diamond halo, royal blue enamel work, and beautifully crafted gold come together to make this c1880 ring regal in every way! To slip it on your finger is to say, "Why yes, I AM the queen!" The sizable amethyst weighs around 30 carats! It is a fine Russian amethyst, prized for its true, deep purple tone, and finest quality. The diamond halo is made up of around 3 carats of old mine cut diamonds, all in the near colorless range of F-I grades, and eye-clean VS-SI clarity grades. Fine enameling adorns the sides, and is in very good condition for its age, with very few chips, as shown. It is all set in 14k yellow gold. The top of the ring measures about 1 1/4 inches by 1 inch. It is about 1/2 inch tall. The ring is currently a size 7 and may be easily resized upon request.
