Opal magic! This little Victorian beauty was made by Ripley Howland and Co. around 1890. It is set in 10k rose gold, beautifully hand-carved with whimsical swirls on either side, complementing the ethereal opal perfectly! The setting is a belcher, a distinctively American design defined by prongs carved directly from a gypsy setting. This particular ring was either made in Boston or New York City where Ripley Howland and Co. resided. It is currently a size 6 1/2 and may be resized easily up or down upon request.
