Pearls are full of meaning, often symbolizing the fidelity, purity, and integrity of the wearer, and three of them in a row gives them the added significance of eternity– the past, present, and future. Set in heavy handmade platinum, covered in beautifully carved details, this c1900 ring makes the perfect milestone gift! The pearls are natural, a rarity after this time period, when they began to culture, or farm, pearls. Before then, pearls were a major status symbol for the wealthy, as they were invaluable. The diamonds are all rose cut, except for one which was replaced with a single cut at some point in the ring's long life. The top of the ring measures about 7/8 by 3/8 of an inch. It is a size 5 and may be resized up or down, though it will need re-engraving, as every bit of the band is carved with details. We are happy to provide these services.
