True Edwardian elegance! This platinum beauty was handmade around 1910. The setting is beautifully carved and set with 16 single cut diamonds in bezel, marquis shaped, and pavé settings surrounding the center. They weigh a total of about .24 carat. The center stone is a stunning 1.16 carats, J-K color, SI1 clarity, EGL USA certified diamond. The color is hard to detect, and nearly impossible in natural light, where it disappears to be near colorless. It is an old european cut, mined when diamonds were found closer to the surface of the earth, and exposed to more radiation. This gives it the slight color change property that is mostly unique to antique diamonds. Carvings along the shank further add to this ring's captivating look. It is currently a size 7 1/2 and may be resized up or down upon request.
