This is perhaps the most rare piece by Trifari we've had the pleasure of showcasing! This piece was made within a few years after Trifari was founded, then Trifari and Krussman. We can attribute it to the early 1920s. This predates Trifari's widespread fame and recognition, and pieces from this period are incredibly hard to find. It is made of pot metal and pave set rhinestones, with cold-painted eyes and a bakelite cap. The piece is called 'the Toreador' or bullfighter. It measures 2 3/8 inches at its longest, and 2 1/4 inches inches at its widest (between the tips of the hat).
