Inventory #: E1202-969
This is one of the loveliest examples of pietra dura we've had in quite some time. A delicate dove holds a crimson red flower in its beak. Each detailed piece of this image is made of intricately carved hard stones fit perfectly together. This piece was made of 9 karat gold in the late 1800's in Florence, Italy. The gold has a rosy cast but could be polished to a high shine if desired. Measures just over 1 inch across.
