Materials: 18 karat yellow gold, foil-backed natural zircon

Condition: Very good. slight abrasion on edges of stones upper facets. 

Description: This is a beautiful belcher-set ring, meaning the prongs holding the center stone are cut from the same piece of gold as the shank itself (no solder here!), making for a very strong ring. The center stone is a foil-backed natural zircon, something we very rarely see. This ring most likely was made to imitate an 'old-mine-cut' diamond ring from the same period, the faceting is done in the same manner.
