Description: A beautiful example of a 'belcher' ring, where prongs are carved out of the same metal as the shank, there's no solder on this ring, leading to an exceptionally strong handmade mounting. This piece features a bit of hand chasing on it's shoulders and a lovely 'Old European' diamond, most likely original to the ring. These rings are great for busy hands, the stone sits smoothly in it's setting and the prongs are particularly smooth.
