Description: This completely hand-made 18 karat gold ring is a beautiful example of cut-work, all the decoration is pierced by hand, representing an incredible amount of labor and skill. The center diamond is a re-cut modern brilliant, formerly an old-mine or old-european cut that was re-cut around 1930 to bring it to what was at the time the most desired 'modern' cut. The center stone is bezel-set, making this rings profile very smooth.
