Materials: 18 karat yellow gold top, 14 karat yellow gold shank, opal mosaic

Condition:Excellent 

Description: Probably originating in Australia, and originally done in 18K, this mosaic of opal on onyx is a doublet. It was probably much loved with its intense rainbow of color. At some point the shank wore out, and was replaced with the 14k, probably here in the US.
