An old European cut diamond is a mesmerizing, kaleidoscopic wonder on its own, but three will have you looking at nothing else! This is a ring that captivates, a ring that you never want to take off. Its classic beauty and quality Cartier make, means you never have to! Three stones often represent past, present and future: a symbol of lasting love further pronounced in the equality of each diamond's size, as each is integral to an eternity together. We believe this ring was custom made by Cartier in the 1980s in 18k gold for someone who had these three diamonds handed down to them. The diamonds were cut around 1910. They are EGL USA certified and total a carat weight of about 2.35. They range in color from colorless F grade to near colorless G grade. The center stone is slightly larger than the sides at about .85 carat and is an SI2 clarity grade. The sides are .74 carat and .76 carat each and both SI1 clarity grade. We priced this ring for the wholesale value of the diamonds alone, without seeing the faded Cartier hallmark and did not adjust it! It is currently a size 5 1/2 and may be resized up or down upon request.
