This is the earring every bride and elegant gala-goer is looking for when they come into our shop: the elusive chandelier earring! This stunning pair was handmade in the 1920s with around 2.4 carats of glittering full cut and brilliant transitional cut diamonds. They sparkle like no other stone or imitation could, each shining their brightest against the romantic, lacy design. All are well matched, near colorless G grade, and clean VS clarity grade. They are set in 18k yellow gold against a silver top that takes on a perfect patina, accentuating their antique beauty. We believe these were made in Eastern Europe where they carried the tradition of diamonds set in silver-topped gold into the 1930s. Each earring measures about 2 1/2 inches long and 5/8 inch at its widest point. They have hook style backings suitable for pierced ears– transparent rubber backings add extra security for dancing the night away!
