Early Victorian Three Piece Parure

Early Victorian Three Piece Parure

A rare early Victorian parure! While each piece shines with antique allure, perhaps most remarkable is the rare locket bangle, which opens up to reveal a place to home our most precious sentiments! The earrings dazzle with their fringe and the pendant draws the eye, completing a refined yet edgy look.

Rose-cut diamonds sparkle at the center of each piece in this well-preserved set. Each diamond is foil-backed and inlaid, surrounded by a halo of deep black enamel while a natural pearl is set above and below, framed by another ring of enamel. This dynamic design is further adorned with finely detailed leaves and a matte gold wreath. Made in the 1860s in 14k gold, this stunning set features about 1.20 carats of fine rose cut diamonds. The proud maker signed the bangle clasp, though the signature is difficult to decipher. It opens with a hinge and click-in tongue-in-groove clasp, has a safety chain, and measures 6 1/2 inches around (inner circumference) and 3/4 to 1 3/8 inch wide. The locket has about a 1/2 inch depth. The earrings measure about 1 3/4 inches long and 5/8 inch wide. The pendant measures about 2 inches long with the bale and 1 1/2 inches wide. The pictured chain is not included but may be found here!
