A natural seed pearl is set at the center of a six pointed star in this beautifully detailed Etruscan Revival style locket from the late 19th century. The oval locket is raised with milgrain embellishments surrounding, flipping open vertically as it opens from the bottom. Inside is the original cloth background and glass frame. Handmade in bright 14k yellow gold, this piece dates to the 1880s or 90s.

The locket pendant measures about 1 7/8 inch long including its bale and just under 1 inch wide. The locket portion measures about 1/2 inch wide and 5/8 inch wide. The chain is not included, though it is available here. We also have may other options available here and through inquiry.
