More than meets the eye, this traditional gold band is weighted in history! Perhaps most charming is its well-loved appearance and girth– the ring measures 4mm wide and is quite thick at 2mm. Its bright 18k yellow gold appears matte from years of wear. The inside of the ring is lovingly engraved with what may be the original wearer's initials, "L. McD. to D.F.C." The ring was made by F. H. & Co., a company we are not familiar with, though the way in which it was hallmarked speaks to the late 19th century or early 20th. It is currently a size 5 3/4 and may be resized up or down upon request.
