Georgian Rose-cut Diamond Hand Earrings

Georgian Rose-cut Diamond Hand Earrings

During the Georgian era, hands were a powerful symbol of fidelity. Our hands have long been thought to say as much about our character as our eyes do about our souls. These stunning earrings were likely an expression of loyalty and integrity, sparkling with 88 rose-cut diamonds and a ruby in each pinky! Each hand grasps a hinged knocker-style drop that moves freely, creating a brilliant display of glitter that dances as the wearer moves.

These incredible earrings likely date to the late 1700s and are set in silver with 2.5 to 3 carats of diamonds. There is a small rose-cut diamond missing from the left pinky, which we are currently looking to replace with a perfect match in the coming weeks– we just couldn't wait to show these off! Each earring measures about 1 5/8 inches long and 7/8 inch wide. Complete with an antique fitted box.
