Sidestepping right into our hearts! This adorable 1930s-40s crab proudly sports an imperial lapis shell and sparkling diamond eyes. Beautifully textured and sculpted 18k yellow gold gives this little guy life-like dimension. The lapis is quite fine, showing off its prized true-blue color and specks of metallic yellow pyrite– contrasting perfectly with the crab's bright gold legs. The diamonds sparkle with a brightness beyond their size. They are full cut, weigh about .11 carat in total weight, are near colorless G grade, and VS clarity grade. The brooch is made to be a fur clip, with two pins that flip open and closed to clip into a garment. We are happy to convert it into a traditional brooch if desired. The brooch measures 1 3/8 inch at its widest and about 1 1/2 inch at its tallest.
