A rare, spectacular bib necklace by Jeray! This is one of very few pieces designed by Jeray Rice Reiner, who produced costume jewelry for only four years! Jeray made iconic statement pieces from 1946 to 1950. This exemplary bib is fashioned from hundreds of radiant silver flower links that come together in eight magnificent strands of chain, boasting incredible patina throughout. Three solid bars blend right into the design, one on either shoulder, and another at the necklaces front and center. The chains meet these hidden bars in a sultry drape, creating a fabulous festoon effect on either side. Matching links dangle like fringe from the lowest chain graduating in length on either end to the longest chain at the center, creating a curtain that cascades into an elegant point below the center. Masterfully crafted and embodying a feminine Etruscan-inspired aesthetic, this bib is a true statement necklace!
