An exceptional marquise cut diamond solitaire is perfectly complemented by a fused band of diamonds that gently climbs alongside the edge of the stone– beautifully framing its elegant shape. The diamonds stand out beautifully in 14k yellow gold, set in the the 1970s or 80s. The stunning .78 carat marquise diamond boasts a colorless F grade and a clean SI1 clarity grade. Its unique magic comes from its faceted girdle, which adds an unusual twinkle around the entire rim of the stone. Most diamond girdles (or the very outer circumference edge of the stone) are left thin and unpolished, and sometimes simply polished– faceting like this is fairly rare and adds a unique brilliance! The band adds an additional .13 carat in total diamond weight including four round cut and 3 additional marquis cuts, all near colorless G grade and VS clarity grade. The solitaire and custom made band are fused together and was likely a wedding set. We are able to separate them for the option to be worn separately upon request. The ring is currently a size 6 and may be easily resized up or down upon request.
