Mid-Century Diamond 'Harem' Ring
Said to be inspired by wedding rings of the Ottoman Empire, a 'Harem' or 'Turkish' ring is characterized by multiple bands of gemstone rings tethered together by a single binding band at the back or bottommost parts of the rings. Though the reason they are called 'harem rings' is somewhat murky, we imagine that the symbolism lies in the ability of each band to move independently and still be bound to one another. Each is beautiful and special on its own, but together, they are complete. Made in the 1950s in 14k white gold, this stunning example features around a carat of glittering high grade diamonds across five stacked bands.
- Full-cut and single-cut diamonds, 1 carat in total weight, graded G-H near colorless and VS-SI clarity grade.
- Size 8. Sizing is possible but not included as the cost will reflect sizing five rings.
