Natural Sapphire Navette c1870
Rich blue natural sapphires stun in this petite navette! A navette is a ring known for its long, flat marquis shape from the late 19th century, usually paved with diamonds and other fine gemstones. The term translates to "little turnip" in French! This 1870s rendition is handmade in 14k rose gold all the way through, providing a brilliant contrast to the stunning, true blue sapphires and near colorless diamonds! Four stunning sapphires sparkle in the center, rare for their natural, untreated quality. They are surrounded by glittering rose cut diamonds that cover the navette to the edges. The diamonds total a carat weight of about .66 and boast near colorless H-I color grades and clean SI clarity grades. The gold shank is accented with carved bands that give this navette a unique edge. It is currently a size 5 3/4 and may be easily resized up or down upon request. The navette measures about 7/8 inch long and 1/4 inch wide.
