An ample sterling locket is adorned with engraved embellishments and paired with a beautifully detailed book chain to match! This stunning piece was made in Birmingham, England in 1879. The abundant engravings are hand-chased and truly a work of art. The book chain features a large spring ring clasp and can be worn with or without the locket attached. The locket measures about 1 3/8 inches wide by 1 3/4 inches long and 3/8 inch thick with a 5/8 inch long bale. The book chain measures about 19 inches long and 3/8 inch wide.
