Made circa 1870s in a sumptuous, satiny 14 karat gold, this elaborate, solid cuff truly radiates a regal splendor that only antique jewelry can provide! Paying homage to natural elements and taking inspiration from Etruscan jewels, it is embellished with meticulous granulation, wirework, angular lines and hand-carved flowers and leafy fronds. There is exquisite details all throughout the bangle, with truly dynamic and sculptural dimensions. It has an inner circumference of 7 1/2 inches and it measures 2 3/4 inches long by 1 1/2 at its widest point. It opens with a side hinge and is completed by a hidden clasp with safety chain included.
It has aged beautifully with lots of patina and it can still be enjoyed for many more lifetimes! With this much character, we picture it worn over a billowing sleeve cuff — the true Victorian way!
