Soviet-Made Diamond Cluster Earrings
From Russia with love! Diamonds are without question one of the world’s most precious discoveries, but even in the world of diamonds there are simply some that are cut above the rest. The term ‘Russian-cut’ comes from the origin of the diamond of course, but also the meticulous process it undergoes to become an authentic Russian-cut diamond, including mining it and cutting it. A Russian cut diamond must include all 58 precise and defined facets, along with a special attention to these symmetrical needs by the hands of an expert cutter. During Soviet times, all diamonds in the unlamented USSR were cut to very strict standards, and that precision surely paid off. The result is this exquisite Soviet-made pair of diamond earrings, dating to the 1930s! There is approximately 3 carats total of Modern-Brilliant, Russian-cut diamonds in this pair, mounted in a sweet buttercup setting, and built entirely in a warm 14 karat gold. All of the diamonds are graded G-H color and VS clarity except for 1 of them, which has a SI1 clarity grade. They measure approximately 17.5mm long by 13.2mm wide, and they clip with secure lever backings for pierced ears. They are hallmarked for the Soviet Union.
If you desire only the very best at the highest quality — then look no further. This pair of exceptional diamond earrings is a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity — and they can be yours!
