Lozenge-Shaped Antique Ring
An 8-pointed star crowns this bold and beautiful Etruscan Revival ring! Handmade with much attention to detail, this antique ring centers a glittering old-mine cut diamond that anchors its domed top. The diamond is adorned with four lustrous half-pearls, nestled within a hand-applied blue enamel frame that delineates an 8-pointed star. The cobalt-blue enamel adds a beautiful contrast to the pearls, giving the piece a royal feel. Adding further depth and relief with a twisted wired border and granulation at its cardinal points, the top is set over a matted, lozenge-shaped disk. The exquisite craftsmanship of ancient Etruscan jewels is perfectly reflected in this piece through intricate detailing all over its entire surface. The band, which was added later on, features a delicate milgrain pattern along its edges that mimics the top and provides the finishing touches. Boasting an attractive patina that shows its age, we believe this ring isn't just a piece of jewelry, but a marvelous work of art!
