Traditionally, this exquisite chain was used to secure a pocket watch to a waistcoat or jacket. The swiveled end would attach to the watch's bale while the spring ring would attach to a button hole or belt loop. This handmade platinum chain is one that is meant to be shown off! Worn as it was meant to in the 1920s-40s when it was made, the chain compliments a pocket watch with its unique elongated marquis shaped links. Today it makes a stunning pocket watch chain, a charm holder, a necklace, or even a bracelet when doubled around the wrist! It measures approximately 13 3/4 inches long and about 1/8 inch wide.
